Orbital Portable products   The Orbital Portable products are light weight drilling units suitable for a wide range of applications. They are attached to fixation devices during drilling to ensure a high hole quality.   The Orbital Portable units has a patented integration of a radial offset mechanism, a spindle motor and an axial feed mechanism, in the same actuating assembly package, which in turn rotates about a principal axis. This makes the design lightweight and compact   The Orbital Portable products come as both automatic and semi-automatic. The automatic products have a programmable dynamic variation of offset/eccentricity. The semi-automatic products have a manually adjusted off-set/eccentricity.       Orbital Portable M-Series The Orbital Portable M-Series units are programmable units for drilling cylindrical holes within high tolerances in materials such as titanium, composites, stainless steel and aluminum.   The units are ergonomically designed with handles with various grips for different applications and all connections in the rear, for easy access. The drilling unit is also fully controlled using the ergonomically placed buttons and operator display in the rear.   The Orbital Portable M-Series has built in functions for fool proof operations, e.g. automatic hole identification for correct drilling parameters and logging.   The feed rate and orbital speed are programmable, e.g. for individual layers in a stack, the off-set/eccentricity is manually adjusted and fixed during drilling. The spindle motor is pneumatic and the feed- and orbital motors are electrical.   The M-Series comes in two versions, one with 40 mm drill stroke length and one with 60 mm drill stroke lenght.   Technical Features for the Orbital Portable M-Series Variable process control enables adaptive stack drilling. The Orbital Portable M-Series comes with a Supply Unit for air, MQL etc. All logic is built in into the machine.     The Orbital Manager software gives the operator total control over the Orbital portable units.
